His last tune on this particular night was Vernon's Wonderland, I remember because that was just out and I paid import price £8 for it and I loved that tune. So it was great to hear it in the right setting. Although Kelly's sound system was shite with no bottom end at all.

The dj booth was split between the old barn and facing the garage part….was £55 a ticket … Radio 1 went all around the world for 12 hours that night and Kelly’s/Lush was part of it, realise how big the club was back then, and Judge Jules had his Friday night show there 6 months later…..feckin wasted most of my life there 😂😂😂

Unreal!! I was at Belfast Goes Large in December 2022 and was talking to this much older Englishman outside in thr courtyard at The Bot. I thought he wss just an old skool raver but then he was approached by a member of the event staff to tell him "you're on in 5 mate"... It was Trix himself. Such a lovely wee man to chat to and up there with Carl Cox as a true master of the rave scene. He should be given the chance to rock the mega festivals and super clubs like Cox still does.
